The Resource Park offers companies multiple streams from geothermal resources, promoting circular economy and sustainable production.
Our story
The Resource Park has formed around HS Orka’s geothermal power plants since 1974. It has been a pioneer in creating value from various geothermal resource streams, that would otherwise go to waste.
HS Orka operates two clusters on the Reykjanes Peninsula with available industrial land and access to renewable energy and multiple resource streams.
Our partners
"Stolt Sea Farm started development at the Resource Park in 2012, as it gave the ideal conditions to farm high quality sole, in sustainable and environmentally respectful production systems by supplying us with green power and warm ocean water from their Reykjanes power plant. Also, being positioned between two continents makes it possible to introduce production into two large markets with the benefits this gives which makes the Resource Park great place for investment."
